Dr. Petro has been a huge help, and I would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with back or nerve issues. I originally started seeing him while dealing with a herniated disc and sciatica that was causing pain and numbness down my leg. He takes the time to understand what I’m experiencing and helps me manage the pain and numbness while working with me throughout the process. I really appreciate how knowledgeable, patient, and caring he is. He always takes the time to explain things and makes me feel comfortable throughout my visits. I also have to give a shoutout to Donna at the front desk — she is always so nice, welcoming, and helpful whenever I come in. She makes every visit a little better!

My story: My lower back was in injured in late March and I spent 6 weeks in pain laying on the floor most of the time with sciatica. A doctor's visit, steroids, ibuprofen, and tylenol didn't do much. During this time I did extensive research to find someone who could help me. I researched all the physical therapists and chiropractors, and read all the reviews. I thank God I chose Dr. Mark Petro! From my first appointment on he was so positive and professional. His adjustment approach with the TRT (torque release technique) to start was gentle (NO snap, crackle, or pop of your back) and pain free. As I progressed, Dr.Petro utilized a combination of the TRT and shock wave therapy sessions over the course of weeks, this truly was a game changer in helping my recovery. Dr. Petro is not only a great Chiropractor, he could be a psychologist or therapist for how many times he talked me off the ledge when I was losing hope, that was priceless to me because I new he truly cared! Sciatica and back pain sucks but be patient and utilize Dr. Petro's skills and you will get better. I am so much better today thanks to Dr. Petro!

I highly recommend Dr. Petro! For nearly two years, I suffered from constant joint, muscle, and nerve pain that steadily worsened. I tried other treatments, but none of them provided relief. I went to see Dr. Petro after experiencing a severe back/ hip strain, I was barely able to walk. I was able to get a same day appointment and left in a considerably less amount of pain. He started me on a treatment plan, and provided me with a lot of education about body mechanics and long term solutions to avoid another strain. He is very kind, compassionate, and gentle. I also really love his receptionist, Donna. She is so sweet and kind. Truly an amazing experience, I won’t go anywhere else for future needs!

On Wednesday I was flat on my back and couldn't move my head, neck, or shoulders without pain. On Saturday I was dancing at a wedding. Between those two events I saw Dr. Mark Petro every day. He listened attentively, gave clear information, and worked gently and persistently to get me back on my feet. I am grateful!

Dr. Petro is fantastic. Not only did his methods take away most of my lower back pain, but he completely cured my shoulder pain, which I had been trying to have doctors fix for years. He is an incredibly kind and nice individual as well. He was recommended by my NP, who he also helped with her back pain. You will not find a better chiropractor than Dr. Petro!

I tried other traditional Chiropractic services prior and was never comfortable with those high velocity adjustments. I decided to give Dr. Petro a try and the type of adjustments he uses is by far better for my liking and I saw better results with this type of adjustment. I had both lower back and neck pain that also radiated into my thighs....and after a couple of months we were able to fix most of the issues and I'm practically pain free again. Now I just go for typical maintenance every once in awhile. I highly recommend Dr. Petro.

Dr. Mark has done such a job for both me and my high school age son. I experienced some terrible back pain, and within a week, I was back to normal. My son sees Dr. Mark as more a preventative care routine to help keep him feeling 100% during his Baseball training. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Mark.

Dr Petro is the best chiropractor I’ve ever seen! He doesn’t do typical adjustments/cracking; what he does shows immediate results. He always finds a way to get me in when I need a tune up. I go every few months for a tight lower back from the gym and am back to 100% with 1-2 visits. Extremely practical with treatment and visit frequency. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Petro helped me when the Sciatica nerve in my right leg acted out. I was in extreme pain, barely able to stand or walk the first day I walked into Modern Chiropractic. Mark is great. He knows what he is doing. He is very accommodating, personable, and most importantly he does not charge you an arm and leg for his services. He does not charge you for any unnecessary addons. I highly recommend him. I have had sciatic pain for the last 4 months. Mark was able to diagnose it and come up with a plan to handle it. It has been over a couple of weeks now and the pain has started to go away. That’s why he is getting a 5 start review from me. Once again, I highly recommend him. Dr Petro is an incredibly knowledgeable chiropractor who thinks critically about what his patient is telling him and how to approach the issue. Dr Petro’s treatments alleviated the very bad pain I experienced after lifting something the wrong way and also relieved my discomfort in my back and down my hip and leg from sciatica. I highly recommend his treatments. I was worried that chiropractic treatments might cause me more pain before alleviating pain. However after each of his treatments I felt better.

Last year, I noticed a painful knot in my shoulder and upper right back. Tried anything to appease pain/discomfort, without success. A happy patient referred me to Modern Chiropractic and Dr. Petro. I came to Dr. Mark with an excruciatingly painful trigger point in my back that would not respond to either massage or conventional chiropractic treatments. After a few TRT treatments, my pain level dropped significantly and I was able to sleep through the night again. Something I had not done for about 3 weeks prior to my first appointment. Soon after I was pain-free and able to return to all of my normal activities. I would strongly recommend Dr. Mark for your chiropractic care. I absolutely swear by going to a chiropractor & Dr.Petro is great! I had 2 bilateral stress fractures in 2016, and although healed, the excruciating pain continued. My soccer coach recommended I see a chiropractor, so I came here(2017/2018) Dr. Petro recommended I come in twice a week. For a month or so I did that and got excellent results! My back no longer prevented me from doing things I should be able to do. I come in regularly to keep it at the great state it's at. At once I couldn't bend over, walk up/down stairs, etc... without pain, and now I can do all those things! He's very knowledgeable in his field, and I highly recommend coming here! I can't even express how thankful I am that I came here, my lower back pain has subsided so much and if anything on the bad days it's so minimal I don't even notice it. Works wonders!
